AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

Mission:

In the Automotive Technologies program, it is necessary to conduct the movement of the vehicles from the motor to the wheels and to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills in a scientific and practical manner.

Vision:

The aim of this course is to train qualified technical staff who will fit the work experience and the discipline which can transform the theoretical knowledge according to technological developments in the application field.

General Information

The automotive technology program started in 1988- 1989 academic year with the opening of Keşan Vocational School. The program is located in a maintenance workshop with area of ​​500m2 indoors. It has a training and application laboratory with a area of ​​300m2 indoors. In addition, there are one classroom, a teaching room, a dressing room, a shower, a toolroom, a Vehicle Diagnostics space and a store for spare parts .

 Since the 2017-2018 academic year, the transition to 3 + 1 training model has been done. The studens are trained in the school for three semesters and then they are sent to the enterprices for practice.

The aim of the automotive industry is to provide qualified technical staff facing the  need of both production and after-sales service with a special quality and philosophy meeting expectations of the age.
